Amazon Prime Day is here (the event runs July 8th–11th this year!), and I’ve curated a list of my Hashimoto’s-friendly favorites that are on sale right now. These are tools and products I love for making healing easier, less overwhelming, and a little more fun.
We’re all feeling the impact of our modern world – stress, uncertainty, inflation. The truth is that we have very little control over what goes on around us, but we do have control over what happens within us.
I find that focusing on small things we can do every day to take care of ourselves, our families, and our communities is one of the best ways to help quell stress. If you’re working on healing your Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue, or other chronic health issues, small but mighty habits (a daily smoothie, an Epsom salt bath, a moment to yourself to read) are incredibly powerful.
Whether you’re on a budget, on a healing journey, a busy mom who doesn’t have time to parse through products and prices, or just trying to stock up on essentials at the moment, my guide to the best Amazon Prime Day deals on Hashimoto’s-friendly products is going to simplify at least one area of your life!
From adrenal-supporting kitchen tools to non-toxic living swaps, check out my personal favorite recommendations below.
(Please note that you must have an active Amazon Prime account to get access to these sale prices. If you’re not already a Prime member, they offer a free 30-day trial, so now would be the best time for it. :-))
Kitchen Essentials for Healing
Nutrition is the foundation of feeling well (and a huge part of healing with Hashimoto’s). These are some of my kitchen staples that make cooking at home healthier and easier:
- Vitamix Blender: The Vitamix really is the best for blending up nutrient-dense, blood sugar-balancing smoothies and gut-healing soups. I use mine daily! (Was $629.95 — Now $379.95!)
- Omega Juicer: Juice (especially green juice!) allows the body to absorb valuable nutrients without the digestive distress of breaking down fiber (which many of us with thyroid issues struggle with). Making juice at home is much more cost-effective, plus it’s much fresher! (Was $549.95 — Now $349.99!)
- Instant Pot: This is the simplest way to make bone broth, plus it offers a range of other features and settings that can save you time and effort. (Was $109.99 — Now $79.99!)
- Slow Cooker: The ultimate hands-off cooking tool so that you can easily prepare meals, even when you’re short on time and energy. (Was $89.95 — Now $62.97!)
Mood, Sleep, and Stress Support
We could all use some support in these areas — especially those of us dealing with adrenal dysfunction or Hashimoto’s. Supporting a healthy stress response, getting plenty of quality rest, and using healthy coping mechanisms can make a big difference in your overall well-being and mood. These items can help:
- Five Minute Journal: Journaling is so helpful for emotional and mental health support. I love this journal — it helps you cultivate gratitude and only takes five minutes to fill out each day, so it’s an easy self-care tool to fit into a busy schedule. (Was $29.99 — Now $24.98!)
- Epsom Salts: For me, there’s nothing a good Epsom salt bath can’t fix. They help me relax and destress, help me sleep, soothe my nervous system, and help support detoxification (with gentle sweating). Epsom salt contains magnesium, an essential mineral that many are deficient in and that helps support our stress response (learn more about magnesium here). I love to stock up on bulk bags of Epsom salt when they’re on sale, so I’m never without them. (Was $25.29— Now $20.23!)
- Bath Bombs: Another fun and nourishing addition to a warm bath. These always lift my spirits! I love these ones especially as they are formulated with natural and organic ingredients, and without the use of dyes or synthetic fragrance. (Was $35.99— Now $28.43!)
- Walking Pad: As you know, walking has a number of health benefits, including supporting your mood and reducing stress, which also may help you sleep better! On the days I can’t get outside as much as I’d like, whether that’s because of computer work, recording podcasts, or because it’s simply too hot, I love using my walking pad! (Was $209.99 — Now $158.99!)
- Tulsi Tea: Tulsi is an adaptogen known for its stress-supporting properties (you can learn more about my favorite adaptogens in this article). I love having a few cups of this daily, especially during stressful times. My tea cabinet is always stocked with tulsi tea! (Was $19.99 — Now $16.99!)
- Mushroom Coffee: If you love coffee, but are trying to be a little more friendly to your nervous system, try coffee that’s infused with adaptogenic mushrooms! Four Sigmatic makes a variety of delicious medicinal mushroom-derived drinks. Some are made with adaptogenic blends, and many are caffeine-free. These blends support productivity and provide antioxidants, but without the jitters and caffeine crash. (Was $16.60 — Now $14.11!)
- Sleep Mask: Did you know that even tiny amounts of light while you’re sleeping can interfere with sleep quality? Sleep masks help block that extra light and ensure you’re getting the deepest, most restful sleep possible. (Was $28.99 — Now $16.99!)
- Blue Light Therapy Device: This blue light therapy device has gotten me through many tough winters (learn more about blue light therapy in my vitamin D article). Simply turn it on in the morning while you’re getting ready, and reap the benefits like increased energy levels and a better mood. You may not need it so much during the summer, but your future self will thank you once those dark winter mornings creep in. 🙂 (Was $52.99— Now $39.88!)
Non-Toxic Living Tools
Toxins and endocrine disruptors can be found in so many of our everyday products, and they can worsen Hashimoto’s. I suggest gradually swapping out your products for less toxic versions.
- Glass Tupperware Set: You’ll need somewhere to store all the delicious food you’ll be making, and I highly recommend you store it in glass and avoid the toxins found in plastic containers. Mason jars also work really well! (Was $28.11 — Now $23.89)
- Ceramic or Cast Iron Pans: These options are safer than most conventional non-stick pans, which can leach chemicals and PFAs into your food (yikes!). I recommend either ceramic cookware or cast iron skillets (cast iron can actually boost iron/ferritin levels, but please be aware that using them may lead to an over-accumulation of iron).
- Ceramic Cookware (Was $150 — Now $115!)
- Cast Iron Skillet (Was $31.13 — Now $25.42!)
- Branch Basics Home Cleaners: Most conventional cleaning products contain toxins and endocrine-disrupting chemicals, so I recommend switching to non-toxic versions of these. This starter kit from Branch Basics is a great swap to make for a cleaner, healthier home. (P.S. You can also buy directly from their website and use code IZABELLAWENTZ for 15% off all Starter Kits!) (Was $75 — Now $60!)
- AirDoctor Air Filter: Did you know that the air quality within your home can often be more problematic than the air outside? Toxins and pollutants in the air can become concentrated indoors, meaning we’re breathing in that air all day long! I always recommend that people use an air filter, and AirDoctor is one of my favorites because it’s so effective! (P.S. You can also buy directly from their website using my special link!) (Was $389 — Now $330.65)
- Clearly Filtered Water Filter: Our water is another place where endocrine-disrupting toxins are lurking. I recommend using a water filter that can remove contaminants and fluoride, for your most thyroid-friendly water. (P.S. AquaTru’s countertop reverse-osmosis filter is my top recommendation. They’re not currently on sale for Prime Day, but you can save $100 when you use my link!) (Was $100 — Now $80!)
- Body Care and Makeup: Unfortunately, another place that toxins lurk is in our body care products and makeup. Our skin is our largest organ, and we can quickly absorb these toxins once they’re applied. Acure makes a nice selection of affordable, non-toxic items like shampoo, conditioner, and skincare. Bare Minerals makes makeup products such as blush, foundation, and mascara that can replace conventional products. Check the products you’re interested in for their Prime Day prices!
- Fluoride-Free Toothpaste: Most conventional toothpaste options contain fluoride, which suppresses thyroid function (you can read more about that here), so I suggest opting for a fluoride-free toothpaste. Wellnesse (started by Katie Wells, a.k.a the “Wellness Mama”) creates high-quality, safe personal care products, including a natural whitening toothpaste free of fluoride. (I also love their shampoo and mineral deodorant!) (P.S. You can also buy the toothpaste directly from their website – use this link for a discount.) (Was $42.00 — Now $35.69!)
- Castor Oil: A versatile staple in many non-toxic medicine cabinets, castor oil aids in detoxification, helps with gut health, and promotes lymphatic drainage (you can learn more about castor oil and how to make a castor oil pack here). Be sure to choose a cold-pressed, hexane-free version for the cleanest option, like the one I linked. (Was $25.19 — Now $12.83!)
Summer Reading for Your Healing
My books may be on sale, too! I don’t set the prices, but Amazon or our publisher might apply a discount during the Prime Day event, so it’s worth checking in throughout the sale. I’ll share any updates on social media if I spot a price drop!
- Hashimoto’s: The Root Cause: This is my first book, where I dive deep into the multiple root causes of Hashimoto’s and what you can do about them. A must-read if you or anyone you know has Hashimoto’s.
- Hashimoto’s Protocol: A 90-Day Plan for Reversing Thyroid Symptoms and Getting Your Life Back: This book lays out a comprehensive plan for supporting your thyroid and immune system. It’s a great road map if you’re just getting started on your healing journey, or haven’t found much benefit from other interventions in the past.
- Hashimoto’s Food Pharmacology: Diet plays a large role in supporting the thyroid and autoimmunity. This book lays out several different healing diet options, and over 100 delicious gluten-, dairy-, and soy-free recipes to help you on your journey.
- Adrenal Transformation Protocol: The essential guide for anyone currently experiencing or who has recently experienced chronic stress, anyone who knows they have adrenal issues, or anyone who has persistent thyroid symptoms despite medication and lifestyle interventions (your adrenals may be struggling!).
These tools are all about helping you reduce stress and support healing at home. Prime Day deals don’t last long (while supplies last or through July 11th, whichever comes first), so check them out soon if you’ve been waiting for the right time to invest.
I hope this helps you on your healing journey!
