This “Tuna Salad” is actually a vegan dish that is free of dairy, soy and gluten ingredients. It is delicious by itself as a breakfast, for lunch on top of a green salad, or for snacking with carrots.
Tuna Salad For Hashimoto’s
Ingredients
- 1 cup of almonds, soaked overnight and rinsed
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 stalk of celery
- 1 tablespoon of white onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a Vitamix until you reach the desired consistency.
TIP: Serve on top of a green salad or as a dip with baby carrots.
