Working in healthcare quality improvement taught me the importance of collecting data to track improvements made though interventions.
I recommend that you track your subjective data (like your symptoms) and objective data (like your lab results) while trying out various interventions to get your Hashimoto’s into remission.
Tracking your interventions and improvements over time will help you identify whether you are on the right path to healing. Sometimes we feel like the interventions we are doing are not helping, because we forget about all of the symptoms we used to have.
Other times we may think that what we’re doing is working, yet we may be getting stuck.
Data helps us to separate out perceptions from facts (that’s why scientist love it!).
I recommend that you print and fill out the Thyroid Journal on a monthly basis.
Wishing you all the best in your journey!
